Lincoln Stain Wax Shoe Polish is packaged in the handy "snap open" can, 2 1/8 ounces net weight (60 grams), and produces an excellent military "spit shine." Lincoln Stain Wax Shoe Polish is made with imported Carnauba Wax, and a blend of other fine materials to stain, waterproof, nourish and shine all leathers.

Spit Shining
Spread a thick layer of paste polish over the leather to be spit shined.
Wrap a soft, clean cloth around your index finger so you have a smooth area on the end of your finger and dip it in water so it is thoroughly wet but not dripping.
Using a small circular motion, buff the dried polish with the wet cloth until a shine starts to develop.
Still using the damp rag on your finger, apply a fine layer of polish in a circular motion and keep on rubbing lightly until a hazy shine develops.
Keeping the rag damp, build up the shine with thin layers of polish applied in circles with light pressure until a glossy shine develops.
When sufficient shine has developed, use a clean, dry, soft cloth to give it a final buff and remove any last haze.

Lincoln Polish is the product that launched our company back in 1925. To this day, we hold true to John Lincoln's secret formula and strict quality standards. We use more carnauba wax than any other major brand. It's why shoe care professionals prefer Lincoln: carnauba wax raises up the highest shine with less effort than petroleum-based or animal-fat waxes. You'll get a hard, glossy, durable shine after just one application of Lincoln Polish.

With 12 colors and our rigorous devotion to quality, we offer a shoe polish for every dress shoe in your wardrobe. To bring old shoes back to life, consider using Lincoln's E-Z Cleaner to clean leather shoes before polishing.

About Carnauba Wax

Carnauba wax, a natural and sustainable resource from the leaves of Brazilian palm trees, is vegetarian, sustainable, and petroleum free. Each season, about 30% of the leaves on each tree are harvested and dried to obtain the wax, leaving the trees healthy and providing a renewable, carbon-friendly resource. Where possible, we source our carnauba wax from small growers in South America. Carnauba wax is hard, glossy, and nourishing for leather. Naturally waterproof, carnauba wax helps protect your shoes from mud and smudges. Try a can of Lincoln polish and see what a difference good wax makes!
